Populating your conceptual model from an Excel file is easy: just go to “Tools > Import” and choose the import strategy that fits your needs.
- Excel into new project will create a brand new project, with the information found on the Excel file: this is great if you need to import data - structure or definitions - from external systems.
- Excel into current project will align the current project structure to map the Excel file content: this means that every element (fact schemata, attributes or measures) not present on the Excel file will be removed from your project.
