Overview
Indyco includes a link formatting feature, enhancing the way users present links within text.
The links inserted in the text of custom properties in indyco Builder are automatically recognized, formatted and displayed accordingly by indyco Explorer.
This feature offers a range of formatting options, including automatic formatting for web page links, automatic display of images linked, automatic formatting for email addresses, and the ability to customize link text using a Markdown-like syntax.
This feature works only for custom properties of type text or list.
Automatic formatting of Web Page Links
The links inserted in the text of custom properties in indyco Builder are automatically recognized, formatted and displayed by indyco Explorer.
Entering in a custom properties a text like:
https://www.example.com,
in indyco Explorer it will automatically formats in:
Automatic display of Linked images
This feature allows users to seamlessly embed images by linking to them. When a valid image link is detected, the software automatically displays the image in the text.
Automatic formatting of email addresses
Users can enter email addresses into the custom properties text editor in indyco Builder and these will be identified and formatted when viewed by the Explorer.
Customization of Link text Using MarkDown-like Syntax
Customize the display text of a link using a syntax inspired by Markdown.
By adding in a custom property in indyco Builder a link with a custom text respecting the following syntax:
Custom Property 1: This is a custom [link](https://www.example.com)
Explorer will renders the link with the specified custom text:
