To avoid overly complex visualizations and let you easily discover and understand the conceptual schema of your data platform, indyco Explorer varies the amount of displayed information.

Depending on the zoom level and on the focused items, indyco Explorer displays one of the following views:

Project view

It shows all facts of your data platform, grouped by area, and the conformed dimensions shared by facts of different areas (in cyan).

Area view

It shows every fact of the currently selected area, the conformed dimensions shared by facts of different areas (in cyan), and the conformed dimensions shared by facts of that area (in green).

Fact view

It shows the selected fact, its measures, the conformed dimensions shared by facts of different areas (in cyan), the conformed dimensions shared by facts of that area (in green), and all its other dimensions (in grey).

Click on a dimension to “unroll” it and see its aggregation levels.

Hover on an attribute to see its sample values.

Note that a conformed dimension is considered to be shared by two facts only if it has been used in those facts with the same role.

Use the navigation buttons on the bottom of the screen to move between views:

You can control the zoom level using the mouse wheel (desktop PCs), touch gestures (tablets and other mobile devices), or using the zoom buttons command area.

To pan the graph just drag an empty area of the window.
